Pashmina comes from
a special goat known as Capara Hircus which lives at an altitude of 12,000 to 14,000 ft. reared
by shepherd nomads around the famous Pongkong Lake in close vicinity of Western Tibet . This
Pashmina wool is famous by the name of Cashmere wool. In these shawls the blend of colours and
development of rich and varied patterns are marvelously achieved, with the cost of Pashmina
having gone up very high, the production of Pashmina shawls has gone down. Standard Sizes: 12” x 60”, 22” x 72”, 28” x 80” & 36” x 80” & 40” x 80 % Combination of fiber used:
